Imperial Da Hong Pao Tea

Not gonna lie—as someone who knows very little about tea, I mostly just picked this one because the name sounded really cool. But I’m glad that I did! It’s a very dark, high-quality tea that reminded me of mate that I had once—it is very earthy and has a mineral taste to it, but also a little bit on the fruity side?

I don’t know how to describe it, but it tasted great. It has just enough kick to get my morning started, but doesn’t sit as heavy in my stomach as coffee tends to. After discovering this tea, I might just switch over entirely.
