Ripe Mini Pu'Erh Tuo Cha

I had never heard of Pu’Erh tea before my doctor recommended it to me at my last visit, so when I finally found it on AiryTea I had no idea what to expect.

The tea arrives in little discs that you steep in hot water. I was unsure whether or not to reuse mine, but the tea is strong enough that it can definitely be used for more than one cup. I was a bit skeptical, but the health benefits were convincing.

And it turns out the flavor is incredible! It’s very sweet and robust, tastes almost like mocha but a bit more earthy. Everything I’ve read suggests drinking this with meals, but it’s so delicious that I’ll often have a cup on its own in the middle of the day to keep me going.
